For today and tonight:
High fire danger will continue today with winds increasing in the
foothills and along the Colorado, Nebraska, border area by early
afternoon with speeds of 15 to 25 mph. Gusts up to 40 mph will be
possible over the ridges in the foothills. By tonight the winds
should begin to decrease by early evening.

For Saturday through Thursday:
Dry conditions are expected Saturday through Monday, with a slight
chance of late day showers and thunderstorms forecast for Tuesday
through Thursday. Temperatures will be a bit above seasonal normals
through much of the period.

Spotter activation will not be needed today or tonight.
