Confidence is increasing in a return to above-normal temperatures and humidity next week. This will bring an increasing risk for heat related impacts to the region. The greatest heat risk will be over Lower Michigan, while areas of the northern and eastern U.P. may be cooler due to cooler air off of the Great Lakes. Periodic showers and thunderstorms can be expected as well.
