A weak disturbance will bring light snow showers to the mountains this afternoon and evening. Accumulations and impacts will be minor and primarily confined to passes and higher elevations. Additionally, winds will steadily strengthen through the day across our higher terrain, peaking this evening and overnight when they'll be most widespread, also impacting the foothills and wind-prone areas west of I-25. Gust 45 to 65 mph can be expected for the winder locations. Daytime temperatures will be a few degrees cooler across the region.
