Triple digit heat is expected to continue for most as the upper-level weather pattern remains the same. High temperatures up to 99 in the mountains, 109 in the adjacent plains, and 114 in the Rio Grande are possible. As such, a Heat Advisory is in effect for west Texas and most of southeast New Mexico Wednesday afternoon through early evening. Be sure to stay hydrated, limit time outdoors, and take frequent breaks under shade if you must be outdoors.
