A strong ridge of high pressure will develop over the Desert Southwest next week, bringing a rapid increase in temperatures beginning Monday. The warmest conditions are expected Wednesday through Thursday, when Moderate HeatRisk will exist in portions of the area. This includes locations closer to the coast that have not experienced temperatures this warm so far this season.
