Happy first day of fall! It certainly feels like autumn across central Iowa today. Patchy drizzle will continue into early this afternoon, but drier air will filter in later this evening and overnight. Overnight lows are expected to drop into the 40s and 50s statewide. Partly cloudy skies and dry conditions return on Wednesday, but the break is short-lived as rain chances return to central Iowa on Thursday and persist through at least Friday.
