Showers and thunderstorms will increase in coverage through the afternoon and evening. The stronger cells will be capable of heavy rain, hail, gusty winds, and frequent lightning. Storms will focus more into eastern NM as the evening progresses. A few stronger storms with large hail and damaging winds are possible.
