Following on a record setting high, the nighttime brought little relief and set another warm weather record.
As measured at Denver International Airport, the Mile High City’s low temperature for July 27 was only 74 degrees. This breaks the previous record high minimum for the date of 72 degrees set in 1931.
Notably, this reading is also the third warmest minimum temperature ever recorded in Denver. The warmest is 77 degrees recorded on July 3, 1881.
Here in Thornton, we did not stay near as warm at night with a low of 64.2 degrees.
