A HIGH risk of rip currents is expected for all Gulf-facing beaches this weekend. Rip currents can sweep even strong swimmers away from shore. If caught in one, do not swim against it; swim parallel to the shoreline until you escape, then angle toward the beach. If you cannot reach shore, call for help.
