The first day\u2019s activity skipped Thornton and stayed south but that is not expected to be the case Wednesday and Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Atmospheric conditions are primed for what may be a day of significant severe weather. Large, damaging hail, strong wind gusts, lightning and brief, heavy rain will all be likely.
