Wednesday warms up further, brings another chance for thunderstorms

A pretty typical spring day ahead for Thornton, a near repeat of yesterday’s weather. We start out with clear skies then the afternoon will bring some clouds.
High temperatures are going to push toward the 80 degree mark. Mid-afternoon introduces a slight chance for thunderstorms although the best opportunity will be in the evening.
Tonight, from about 6:00pm to 9:00pm we see better chances for storms. Like yesterday, some hail, strong winds and brief, heavy rain will be possible. After that, things will settle down and partly clear skies will be above. Overnight lows will be around 50 degrees.
