Thornton’s weekend weather to remain cool, unsettled
Friday, May 12th, 2023 4:55am MDTAnyone have an ark we can borrow? Holy moly we have received a bunch of rain! It will, thankfully, be ending later today and we then briefly dry out before Mother’s Day turns wet again.
For today, early morning will see the rain continue then, slowly, taper off by mid to late morning. A few sprinkles may linger the balance of the day. Highs will be in the low 60s. Tonight, skies will see some clearly with lows in the mid-40s.
Saturday will be the nicest day of the three day period but not anything extraordinary. Look for partly sunny skies to be above with highs in the mid-60s. The next weather system arrives tomorrow evening and with it we may see some light, overnight showers Saturday night into Sunday morning. Lows will be in the mid-40s.
Mother’s Day will, unfortunately, not be all that nice. Cloudy skies will be above with highs in the mid to upper 50s. Light rain showers will be possible throughout the day.
Have a great weekend and stay dry!
