Thornton’s weekend weather starts calm and quiet, will end colder, a bit unsettled
Friday, January 22nd, 2021 5:13am MSTA little bit of a mixed bag of weather for the three day period. Friday and Saturday will be calm with temps near normal, then a cold front moves in mixing things up Saturday night and Sunday.
For Friday, we will see clouds increase through the day but overall mostly sunny skies will be above. High temperatures will be in the mid-40s. Friday night, partly cloudy skies will be above with lows in the low to mid-20s.
Saturday looks similar to today but will be a bit warmer. Highs will reach to near 50 degrees under mostly sunny skies. A cold front moves in late in the day Saturday and that may allow for a flurry or two in the evening. Saturday night, mostly cloudy skies will be above with lows in the low to mid-20s.
Sunday we’ll see a good bit of cloud cover and highs will only reach the mid to upper 30s. Some light snow with minimal, if any, accumulation will be possible, mainly from noon into the evening.
