Monday to offer temps a bit above normal, lots of sun

Monday, November 30th, 2020 5:00am MDT

A pretty good looking late fall day ahead for Thornton. It will, in fact, be the nicest day of the week with cold and potentially some snow on tap in the days to come.

Today will see sunny skies above throughout with light winds out of the southwest. We start out quite cold with temperatures in the teens but then will warm up nicely to the low 50s.

Tonight, mostly clear skies will be above with overnight lows dropping to the mid-20s.

Looking ahead, a cold front will move in tomorrow and that will bring a chill to the air Tuesday and Wednesday. Snow will be possible over that period but at the current time are not expecting much at all. The later part of the week will see gradual improvement and we should see temps in the 50s for the coming weekend. Get more details in the extended weather forecast here.
