Monday offers more warm temperatures, just a slight chance for a storm

Monday, August 17th, 2020 4:57am MDT

Yeah, we realize these forecasts are sounding a bit like a broken record but it is what it is. The workweek continues the warmer than normal temperatures and will bring periods of smoke.

Mostly sunny skies start us off then any clouds will clear off and sunny skies will be the rule for most of the day. Expect to continue to see haze from wildfire smoke throughout. Highs will top out in the mid-90s. We do see just the slightest chance for a thunderstorm to pop up from about 3:00pm to 8:00pm.

Tonight, skies will clear and overnight lows will drop to the low 60s.
