Mild temperatures but with breezy winds for Wednesday

Not too bad of a day ahead for Thornton. We will enjoy lots of sun and temps well above normal. There will, however, be some breezy winds as well.
Sunny skies start us off and will be with us throughout the day. Winds will be out of the west and a bit breezy, particularly from mid-morning to late afternoon. The downslope flow will help push high temperatures today to the mid to upper 50s.
Tonight, winds will ease by sunset then we will see calm conditions under mostly clear skies. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s.
