Blustery conditions, slight chance for precipitation for Thornton’s Monday

The front that passed late yesterday is slowly working its way out but its impact will continue to be felt. Today will be a bit unsettled with only a little bit of precipitation expected and winds being the most notable feature.

This morning, mostly cloudy to cloudy skies will be above. Some sprinkles of rain, perhaps with a few snowflakes mixed in, will be possible in the morning but, any precipitation is expected to be minimal. This afternoon, skies will gradually see some clearing with any precipitation ending by about 3:00pm.

High temperatures will be in the mid-40s. The wind will be the dominant condition today with blustery conditions expected throughout the daytime hours making it less than pleasant outdoors.

Tonight, skies will continue to clear. Winds will continue to be blustery until about midnight before dying down. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 20s.
