Tuesday in Thornton to see temps remaining cool, a few light showers

One more cool day today with conditions much like we experienced yesterday. There will be chances for showers but none are expected to amount to much.
Cloudy skies start us off and will be above through the morning. The afternoon may see the sun peek out a bit. High temperatures will top out in the mid to upper 50s, more than 15 degrees below normal. Light showers will be possible throughout the day and into the evening.
Tonight, any shower activity should be done by 10:00pm. Skies will then see some clearing. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 30s.
