Toasty temps for Thornton on Wednesday, just a slight chance for storms

Another hot one today set to bring mercury readings similar to yesterday. We will also see some gusty winds and some isolated thunderstorms.
The day starts off mostly clear. The afternoon will bring increasing cloud cover as moisture aloft increases. Look for breezy west winds this afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the mid-90s.
The afternoon will see some isolated thunderstorm activity move through into the evening. Unfortunately, at this time, we aren’t expect much activity and not much out of what does occur.
Tonight, any storms will end by about 9:00pm and we will then see some clearing. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-60s.
