Thornton’s weekend will see above normal temps, bring a chance for precipitation

Friday, November 15th, 2019 4:53am MDT

Not too bad of a three day period in store for us. Overall, temperatures will be above normal but we do have just a chance for a shower Saturday PM.

For Friday, a wave cloud looks to be lingering and pretty dominant leading to mostly cloudy skies. That however will not keep temperatures from being well above normal as highs should reach the mid-60s.

Tonight, cloud cover will persist and lows will dip to the mid-30s.

Saturday starts out nice with partly sunny skies and temperatures reaching a high in the low 60s in the early afternoon. Later in the day, a weak system will be passing through that will mix things up a bit. A little bit of evening rain, perhaps throwing in some light snow after dark will be possible. No accumulations are expected at this time.

Precipitation will end around midnight Saturday night and skies will clear. Overnight lows into Sunday morning will be in the upper 20s.

Sunday will be cooler but still a nice looking day. Mostly sunny skies will be above with highs near the 60 degree mark.

Have a great weekend@
