Thornton’s weekend weather to feature temps near normal, some wind

We will see pretty typical, mid-January weather this weekend. Temperatures will be near normal and there will be some wind initially.
Friday will offer sunny to mostly sunny skies above. Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 40s. Winds will be breezy, especially in the morning, then easing some in the afternoon. Tonight, skies will be mostly cloudy with overnight lows dropping to the mid-20s.
Saturday starts out with a good bit of cloud cover but those should ease leaving mostly sunny skies for the latter part of the day. Highs will be in the mid-40s with some breezy winds. Saturday night into Sunday morning, mostly cloudy skies will cover us with lows in the low 20s.
Sunday will offer temps near the other two days in the mid to upper 40s. Partly clear skies will be above.
