Thornton’s weekend to feature very warm temperatures, not much chance for precipitation
Friday, June 10th, 2022 4:49am MDTWhile we are 10 days away from summer, Mother Nature is going to bring on the summer heat early. Temperatures this weekend will be well above normal and we have only minimal chances for thunderstorms.
For Friday, we will enjoy sunny skies for most of the day with a few clouds in the mid to late afternoon. Winds will be a little breezy in the afternoon. High temperatures will top out in the low to mid-90s. Tonight, lows cool to the low 60s under mostly clear skies.
Saturday will be the hottest day of the period with highs topping out in the mid to upper 90s. Sunny skies will be above for the most part with just a slight chance for a PM thunderstorm. Saturday night, partly cloudy skies will be above with lows in the low 60s.
Sunday will bring a few clouds but nothing too intrusive. Highs will reach the mid-90s with only a few, isolated thunderstorms expected. Have a great weekend!
