Thornton’s weekend continues the hot temps, might see some thunderstorms at the end

Not much change in the weather from what we have seen in recent days. The weekend will feature mercury readings well above normal, however, by the end of we do start to see signs of a cooling trend that may bring some precipitation.
For Friday, we will have a few clouds above but nothing too intrusive. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 90s. Tonight, partly cloudy skies will be above with lows in the mid-60s.
Saturday will offer up sunny skies for the majority of the day. Highs again reach the mid-90s. The afternoon and evening bring just a slight chance for thunderstorms. Saturday night into Sunday morning, partly cloudy skies will be above with lows in the mid-60s.
Sunday we finally get a hint at changes. Temperatures will cool a little bit and the afternoon brings a pretty decent chance for some thunderstorms. Have a good weekend!
