Thornton’s Tuesday to feature unseasonably warm temps, plenty of sun

Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 5:21am MDT

Another fine looking early fall day ahead for us. Temps will be well above normal and conditions calm and dry.

Skies will be clear to mostly clear throughout the day with only a few clouds popping up. Winds will be calm, conditions dry, winds light.

Temperatures will top out close to the 80 degree mark, about 10 degrees above normal for the date.

Tonight, mostly clear skies will be above with overnight lows in the mid-40s.

The storm system we have been talking about in recent days continues to be on track. Latest indications would indicate we may see a few inches of snow, mainly during the day Thursday. More notable will be the cold with highs Thursday barely getting above freezing and Thursday night lows into the teens.

Stay tuned and in the meantime, enjoy the warmth!
