Thornton’s Thanksgiving weekend to offer up mild, dry weather conditions

Thursday, November 25th, 2021 5:33am MST

There will be no weather-related issues going to and from Grandma’s house for the holiday, or the immediate days after. We will be enjoying unusually warm weather and conditions will be calm.

For Thanksgiving Day, sunny skies will be above with highs in the mid-50s. Tonight, skies remain mostly clear with lows near freezing.

Black Friday warms up even more with highs in the mid-60s and lots of sun above. Friday night, partly cloudy skies will be overhead with lows in the mid-30s.

A weak disturbance moves in Saturday cooling things down again. Highs will still be warmer than normal in the mid-50s, again with sunny skies above. Saturday night, lows dip below freezing with mostly clear skies.

The four-day period closes out with a bump in temps as highs return to the mid-60s.

From the Thornton Weather family to yours, we wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!
