Thornton to enjoy mild temperatures Wednesday but with a good dose of wind

Downslope winds are going to be the main feature for our weather today. While they will allow us to have a mild day, the wind will be blustery at times.
Mostly sunny skies start us off today then we will see cloud cover increase by late morning / early afternoon. Winds will be a bit breezy early then pick up speed in the afternoon. Temperatures will be quite mild, aided by the downslope flow. Look for highs near the 60-degree mark.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies will be above with continuing breezy conditions. Speeds will actually be increasing after midnight, foretelling a windier day tomorrow. Overnight lows will be in the mid-20s.
