Temperatures cool Tuesday but remain above normal, a bit of a chance for rain
Tuesday, September 28th, 2021 4:58am MDTWe begin to see a change in the overall weather today as the first of a series of systems impacts us. Temperatures will cool some and we see a bit of a chance for precipitation.
The day starts off with a good bit of cloud cover and a light sprinkle of rain will be possible early. Then, partly sunny skies will be seen for the majority of the day. Highs today will top out in the low 80s. Mid-afternoon will offer up just a slight chance for a shower / thunderstorm.
This evening, we have a bit better chance for some precipitation and cloud cover will increase. Any showers should be done by about 9:00pm. We will then be left with partly clear skies as we head toward an overnight low is the low 50s. The pre-dawn hours tomorrow may bring a shower.
Looking ahead, temperatures will be cooling and chances for precipitation increasing through the end of the workweek. See the extended forecast for a look.
