Monday to offer calm, dry conditions, temperatures above normal

Monday, January 20th, 2020 5:08am MST

Thornton is set to enjoy a very pleasant Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We’ll have lots of sun above and unseasonably warm temperatures.

Clear skies start us off and then we will see a slow increase in cloud cover through the day. The clouds won’t be too intrusive though with mostly sunny skies being the general rule. Temperatures will climb to a high right near the 50 degree mark, a good bit above the average for the date of 44 degrees.

Tonight, cloud cover will increase and lows will dip to the upper 20s.

Looking ahead at the rest of your week, for the most part the dry, unseasonably weather will continue. We do see just the slightest chance for some snow Wednesday night but that looks to amount to very little. Details here.
