Following surprisingly strong snowstorm, clearing conditions and cold temps for Thursday
Thursday, February 25th, 2021 5:15am MDTWell, that was a bit of a surprise, eh? The storm overperformed thanks to higher than expected instability and a good dose of upslope. We recorded 9.8 inches at 4:00am but it will come to a fast end this morning.
Cloudy skies and some light, additional accumulations will be possible through about 9:00am. The skies will then begin to clear and snow will be done. By this afternoon, it will be mostly sunny. Temperatures will remain cold with highs today right around freezing.
Tonight, partly cloudy skies will be above with overnight lows dropping to the mid to upper teens.
