Chilly temperatures, slight chance for snow Tuesday

Another chilly day for Thornton although we should see temperatures climb above freezing for the first time in almost a week. We may see a few flakes of snow late today and tonight although it isn’t expected to amount to much.
Mostly sunny skies start us off then this afternoon we will see cloud cover increase as this next storm system moves in. Temperatures will see a steady climb into the early afternoon then decrease from there. Highs today should reach the upper 30s / lower 40s.
Late afternoon may see a few flurries with the best chance for snow coming from about 5:00pm to 10:00pm. Little if any accumulation is expected.
Overnight lows tonight will drop to the low teens under mostly cloudy skies.
