Valentine’s Day brings cold, chance for snow to Thornton
Thursday, February 14th, 2013 6:23am MDTWhat seems to be a recurring theme of a weak cold front and disorganized storm system will impact northeastern Colorado today. For us that will mean high temperatures near the freezing mark and a chance for some light snow.
Best chances to see the white stuff will be starting around noon and lasting through the early evening, perhaps a bit later. Once again we don’t expect to see much accumulation, less than an inch is indicated by models right now, possibly much less.
Over the longer term we will be cold but dry on Friday, mild for the weekend, then another weak system moves through Monday and a possibly stronger one next Wednesday.
