Unsettled weather conditions start Thornton’s workweek

Monday, April 18th, 2016 5:13am MDT

The bulk of the storm system that brought cold and snow this weekend has moved to our east but its remnants will still be felt. Circulation around the low pressure system will keep things cool and give us chances for precipitation Monday and Tuesday.

For today, mostly cloudy skies above will be the general rule. Temperatures are going to remain a good bit colder than normal as we expect our high to only be in the mid-40s.

Late morning seems a slight chance for a snow flurry but with no accumulation expected. The afternoon offers just a bit of a chance for a sprinkle or two. Overnight tonight, a second disturbance passes through bringing a chance for snow in the early morning hours. Only minimal accumulation is expected if any at all.

Have a great day!
