Thornton’s workweek starts out with a mild Monday
Monday, January 7th, 2013 5:38am MDTOur warming trend continues today with the mercury expected to climb to around the 50 degree mark today. Plenty of sun will be above although there will be a bit more cloud cover today than yesterday. The mild temperatures look to last through most of the workweek however big changes are expected late in the week.
A strong cold front is expected to arrive in the Friday to Saturday time frame and usher in a protracted period of below normal temperatures. The exact timing of the system and its impact are still a bit up in the air with models currently not able to come to a consensus. However you can be assured that colder weather, and possibly a bit of snow, are on the way for this weekend.
