Thornton’s weekend to offer somewhat unsettled weather conditions

Friday, November 2nd, 2018 5:04am MDT

A couple of disturbances will be moving into northern Colorado and while the biggest impacts will be in the high country, we will feel their effects here at lower elevations as well. Most notably, will be a good bit of breezy winds today and tomorrow, perhaps a shower overnight tonight.

For today, mostly sunny skies will be above throughout the day. Downslope flow will help aid temperatures to climb a bit above normal. Look for winds to pick up after noon and continue into tonight.

Tonight, partly clear skies will be above along with the aforementioned wind. After midnight, we stand a slight chance to see some light rain, perhaps a few flakes of snow in the pre-dawn hours tomorrow.

Saturday cools down a good bit with highs in the low to mid-50s. Partly sunny skies will be above and breezy winds will last throughout the day, finally easing in the late evening.

Overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, partly cloudy skies will be above with lows dipping to around freezing.

The weather settles down a bit on Sunday to close out the weekend. Partly sunny skies can be expected with highs in the mid-50s.
