Thornton’s mild workweek continues, focus on possible weekend snow
Tuesday, February 5th, 2013 6:19am MDTWe will enjoy a mild Tuesday with temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. Mostly sunny skies should prevail however there is a chance that a wave cloud will develop and if that does it would block the sun and inhibit our high temperature for the day.
Look for the unseasonably warm weather to continue through the rest of the workweek with temperatures in the 50s.
We continue to monitor the storm system we have been talking about in recent days that may bring big changes to the area this weekend. It is too far out to pin down the exact timing and impact and much could change between now and then. However models are indicating its arrival on Saturday and it could bring some significant snow to much of northern Colorado including the Denver metro area.
