Thornton heads into the holiday weekend with clear skies, above normal temps

Wednesday, November 21st, 2018 4:59am MDT

Mother Nature won’t be impacting your Thanksgiving prep today (or the holiday itself). For today we will have lots of sun and mild temps and while there will be more clouds tomorrow, it will remain warm for the holiday.

Wednesday, sunny skies start things off and we expect pretty much cloud-less skies throughout the day. Winds will be light and out of the south, conditions calm and dry. Temperatures will top out near the 60 degree mark, about 10 degrees above normal.

Tonight, skies will remain clear early on with clouds arriving in the pre-dawn hours tomorrow. Overnight lows will be around 30 degrees.

Previewing your Thanksgiving weather, a system is going to be moving through increasing cloud cover but keeping things dry and mild at lower elevations. More here.
