Snow coming to an end Thursday morning, cold temps remain
Thursday, February 21st, 2013 5:55am MDTThus far we have seen 2.4″ here in Thornton which is at the lighter end of the forecast amounts as we had said we expected. Roads are snowpacked and slick so allow yourself extra time for the commute this morning.
Light snow will continue through the first half of the morning with a bit more accumulation possible before the snow starts to taper off. A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 9:00am.
We’ll have a bit of a weather rollercoaster in the coming days with warmer temperatures Friday and Saturday then a slight chance for snow Saturday night into Sunday.
