Yesterday brought a bit of weather excitement to our area as thunderstorms developed and moved across the north metro area in the afternoon. Thornton was lucky enough to receive 0.29″ of much-needed precipitation.
Sunday we dry out and heat up, a patter that will continue into the first part of the workweek. Look for sunny skies today as we head for a high temperature around 98 degrees.
We will be following suit with highs in the upper 90s Monday and Tuesday before cooling down a bit for the latter half of the week.
